A facial is type of beauty treatment that is used for a variety skin treatment. Facial types are steam, exfoliation, creams, lotions, extraction, peels, masks and massage. This treatment is generally performed in a beauty salon. It is also a common spa treatment.

Facial mask is done using creams. It is applied in the form cream mask for cleaning and smoothing the face. This facial mask often contains minerals and vitamins, fruit extracts such as cactus and cucumber. There are different kinds of masks used for different purpose. Here some of the masks are used for deep cleaning and also for cleaning the pores.

A facial involves a variety of skin treatments, including: steam, exfoliation, extraction, creams, lotions, masks, peels, and massage. Normally performed in a beauty salon but it is also a commonly used treatment at spas. Taking up of facial mask treatment, it revitalizes, rejuvenates or refreshes your skin.

For some masks we need to wash off using lukewarm water, and some have to peel off by hand. The total duration to be taken to wear this mask will depend on the type of mask. This duration is generally for 3 to 30 minutes, and few masks have to keep for whole night.

Honey is another type of very popular mask which is used to smooth skin and also to clean pores. If this mask is carried out at home then you can keep a slice of cucumber on both eyes.

Always select the facial masks that suites your skin type. For example: always use clay and mud masks for oily skin, for dry skin cream based masks will be best suitable. For getting better results always use masks after cleansing, this will give better results. And always try to avoid firming masks applied over the eye area as they may cause itching.
