Miraval resort and spa is located on 135 acres of land and is surrounded by the southern Arizona's Santa Catalina Mountains. Miraval is the door to self awareness and acceptance. Miraval spa is a destination spa.

It has 30 treatment rooms, a relaxation room, and a beauty salon. The lockers rooms are luxurious and are build with steam, sauna, and whirlpools. The spa offers different types of massages, therapies, bodywork etc. Apart from the spa services the Miraval spa offers programs on fitness, nutrition, relationship and many more. Ayurvedic treatments are also offered.

Along with the spa services meditation and yoga techniques are practices to prevent the stress. A full service saloon is available which provides a compete range of facial.

The activities of the Miraval spa re invigorating and gives a blend of pleasure and unexpected experiences. Focusing on life balancing the Miraval emphasizes on self discovery, stress management and relaxation techniques rather than the mud baths and facials.

The pool at the spa is good-looking. The pool is surrounded by waterfalls and desert landscaping. The rooms have the look of the southwestern style and have the views of the Santa Catalina Mountains. Unfortunate thing to be noted is that the bathrooms have showers but lack the tubs.

All the things in the Miraval spa are well equipped and most of them have the private patios.

The Miraval spa is isolated from the city and has an excellent security service at the entrance. Walking around the paths of the building give a sense of relaxation.

The foods offered by the spa are wonderful and was abundant.
