The principle of the Chinese massage is called as Jing Luo (channels and collaterals). So the traditional Chinese massage therapist work on this principle by activating, regulating and clearing the channels and blood flow
Before the therapist starts with the session he/she first study the full case history of the clients with the help of four traditional Chinese examination methods. The examinations are verbal interview, visual observation (listening to breathing, coughing etc), touching the clients and taking a note on their pulses. They study on the reports to find out the problem and the principle treatment to cure it
During the traditional Chinese massage the clients made to lie on a couch. Sometimes they are allowed to sit on a chair or stool. If the session is given in a hospital or clinic the clients are allowed to wear thin cotton dresses
